Cooling off after a long day at the beach

This past month, I had to do some traveling for my job.

We always have to go on at least one business trip a year to train and interact with members from other branches.

I’ve gone all over the place, but this year, I had the best trip yet. I got to take a vacation to California, and our conference was only thirty minutes from the coast. We had meetings and training sections almost every day for the ten days I was there, but we had one day completely free. I was so excited for that day and wanted to make the most of it, so I spent it at the beach. I soaked up the sun, swam in the ocean, and enjoyed a few drinks. It was so relaxing to take a day to myself in such a beautiful location. By the end of the day, I realized that I might have spent a little too much time in the sun! I was clearly sunburned and I was extremely hot and dehydrated. When I got back to the hotel, I was so grateful for the air conditioning system. Our company always puts us in these amazing five star hotels, and I swear this air conditioning system was the most amazing temperature control known to man. There was a convenient and easy to use remote control in the room, and the air conditioner had a bunch of settings. Even on the most powerful setting, the air conditioner operated silently. It took about five minutes for my room to be as cold as an ice bar! I was beyond elated with the high quality technology. Not to mention, the room also came equipped with one of those fluffy, white robes. I wrapped up in the robe, ordered room service, and continued my relaxation.
